1. How do I submit my company for consideration?

If you wish to submit a business plan to be reviewed for funding, please email it to info@rusticcanyon.com.

2. How quickly will you review my submission?

Rustic Canyon will review and respond as quickly as possible. While we receive thousands of unsolicited business ideas and plans from entrepreneurs every year, we understand the value of a timely response within the entrepreneurial process.

3. Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?

As a matter of policy, we do not sign NDAs.

4. Will I be able to talk to someone at Rustic Canyon about my idea prior to submitting it?

We review every submission we receive. While we certainly would enjoy the opportunity of talking with each entrepreneur prior to submission of an idea, it is not possible for us to do so.

5. What types of companies or sectors do you invest in?

Please review a list of our current portfolio companies and our sector focus to get a sense of the types of companies we prefer to work with.

6. At what stage of the company’s development will you provide financing?

We focus on seed and early round financing for companies. We will occasionally make growth-stage investments in highly successful technology companies with a demonstrated aptitude for operational excellence.

7. How much do you invest in a company?

Our typical investment size ranges from $500 thousand to $10 million, but it is possible that we can invest outside this range in special situations

8. Do you invest in companies outside of the West Coast?

Yes, although it is our preference to work with companies based near enough to have regular in-person interaction with the company management.
