ODS Petrodata Services Inc. and Petrodata Ltd. were established in 1973 and 1981 respectively, and merged in 2000 to form OneOffshore. OneOffshore publishes 72 news and database products serving the drilling, construction, diving, offshore marine, field development and marine and coastal construction industries worldwide. In 2001 it launched RigPoint, a web-based market intelligence, analysis and communication tool for the drilling industry, which has secured customers from the major oil companies and leading drilling contractors. It merged with Bassoe Offshore Consultants Ltd. in August 2002. The newly merged BOC and OneOffshore is named ODS-Petrodata in acknowledgement of their long standing market recognition. ODS Petrodata will have offices in Houston, Texas; Aberdeen and Edinburgh, Scotland; Oslo, Norway; Lafayette, Louisiana; and Singapore.
