Founded in 1997, Cyrano Sciences is a material sciences company that designs and manufactures products that quantify and digitize the chemical composition of a vapor. Put simply, they can smell. The products are based on Cyrano’s proprietary sensor array technology, developed at Caltech, which is already covered by thirteen issued patents with 52 patent applications pending. Their products provide customers with precise and mobile vapor sensing capabilities at the point of need. Cyrano’s first commercially available product is the electronic nose (the C320) and its NoseChips™. In addition Cyrano is leveraging its connectivity and data analysis technologies to provide an integrated end-to-end software solution.
